Painter Carolyn Blake lives and works in Birmingham.  Blake evokes a sense of place within the compositions she recreates from her travels. Capturing her scenes with her camera or smartphone, Carolyn works on composition that detaches itself from the detail of the entire scene and focuses on retelling the memory of the moment.
